If you've browsed the Internet much and been to different club websites, you'll probably know at least three things: interactive web sites are the most exciting way to browse, some websites can be really, I mean really, complicated and often times static websites are boring. since they often do not change and are little more than posters.
The AHCUSA website team is set to change all that ... HEALEY.ORG is different from the normal models for portal software. For a start, it's not complicated. It has been developed for the masses. It's easy to navigate and doesn't require the user of the system to be an Internet geek to operate it.
We really hope you enjoy this resource intended to provide to the public with general information about the club and car, and the exciting new Members Only area where we will continue to add exclusive content such as Technical Articles, Past Magazine articles and more for our membership to access and down load.
Furthermore many areas of the HEALEY.ORG website are intended to be interactive and allow for AHCUSA members to contribute.
New website features:
- Completely database driven site engines
- News, products and services sections for Members
- Topics sections can be added to by contributing authors
- Online profile updates by Members
- Browser upload of images to your own photo album
- Dynamic Forum/Poll/Voting booth for on-the-spot results
- Live newsfeeds from blogs and other sites
Extensive capabilities:
- Remote author submission module for News, Articles, FAQs and Links
- Image library - share your car photos online for easy use
- News feed. Choose from news feeds from around the world
- Archive manager. old articles are accessible rather than throw them out
- Email-a-friend and Print-format for every story and article
- In-line Text editor similar to Word Pad
- User editable look and feel
- Polls/Surveys - provide feedback to the AHCUSA Board, Officers and Website team quickly
- Banner manager. providing a place for readers to access popular Healey related resources

NEW FEATURE ADDED
Members can now comment on articles
The ability to comment on articles was just added on a trial basis. At the end of each article is a Write Comment link. This feature is only available to registered (Club Members) users. Let us know how this works out. We will fine tune this feature as we go along and if it is popular will be left turned on. Cheers! All volunteer management.
