Production Records Trace
The British Motor Industry Heritage Trust (BMIHT) maintains original production records for all regular production Austin-Healeys. (Therefore note that the records for Warwick-built cars such as the first 20 Hundreds, the 100S model, and the Special Test Cars are not available from the BMIHT. Note also that records of CKD cars assembled abroad, for example in South Africa or Australia, may be incomplete or missing.) The BMIHT will research a specific car's original production information and provide the data on a certificate suitable for framing.
<<Note: These prices are probably out of date, please check on current pricing.>>
The fee for this service is £28 (approximately $50 US). To pay, provide credit card information (number, expiration date, and name and address of cardholder) or U.S. clients may send a $50 personal check payable to "Heritage Motor Centre." (Clients in other countries, including Canada, may send a bank draft for £28, or a check drawn on a British bank.) Provide the complete "Car Number" in writing whether by letter, fax or email. See Resource Book section titled "Car Numbers". (Also provide Engine Number and Body Number if available. The BMIHT can in most cases trace an Austin-Healey from the Engine Number or Body Number alone.) Mail, fax or email to:
