It is with great sadness that I let you know that Don Lenschow passed away peacefully in his sleep on Friday morning (4/30/2010).

Don was a former NTAHC President, a former AHCUSA President, and a good friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Here is the firmed up information on services:

Friday, May 7th:
Visitation from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Quiram Funeral Home,
1245 Somonauk St, Sycamore, Illinois; Phone: 815-895-6589.

Saturday, May 8th:
Funeral Services will be held at 11am in the
Salem Luthern Church, 1145 DeKalb Avenue, Sycamore, Illinois.

avatar Don was my mentor when I became President of the club. The only part about this
hobby I dislike is that I get to meet these great people then watch them pass
away. Rest in Peace Don. My thoughts go out to Kay and family.

I have written back and forth to Don over the course of the last eight years and
his enthusiasm for the Healey cars and his motto, " drive them, they like it
"
persuaded me to purchase and enjoy a big Healey in 2006. There were and
are of course lots of other great Healey enthusiasts out there who have helped
and continue to do so. Don tipped the balance for me to get into this great
fraternity of LBC drivers and for that I owe him a debt of gratitude. God speed
Don, and thank you.
